Potential Lighting for the main task

Tuesday 15th March 2011

Further into the lesson, our group discussed the potential atmosphere we would like to set for the main task, which mainly revolved around the lighting and location. We were discussing weather to film at night or in the afternoon, and which time of day would potential make the best impact.

If we record at night, it may add to the whole atmosphere and the vibe of the task, by signifying danger, confusion, anger, agression and rebellion, whereas if we record in the afternoon, it may be easier to record, as the scenery would be much more visible, and it would be easier for the group to record at this time, and would be more productive and enjoyable as we could allocate more time to it as we would have much more time before it gets dark.
