Introduction speech for main task

Tuesday 22nd February 2011

In my spare time, i had to construct the voice over for the introduction of our main task. I did this by speaking in arabic, and saying powerful words. Initially the plan was for me to do the voice over with the chosen music in the background, but as i am working at home, my resources are limited and so i will leave it for us to do as a group. In contrast, i have done the general recording of myself speaking, which will be used in the opening scene of the main task.

What i said in arabic is translated below:
All I do is try to make a living
Translation: Ana 3ayesh b' 7al balad, 7atta isht8il oo shoof mostaqballe.

Coming from a middle eastern country, why do i have to be judged?
Jaye min Il Sharq l Awsat, Leish l 3alam T'tala3 fiye B 7al taree2a.?

Is it because of the look, my culture...my beard?
7al shi la2ano fi 3ande la7ye, aw la 2anno ana jaye min balad 8areeb, ma3 2enno ana 5al2an b 7al balad, wleken, b7es eno 2ana 8areeb.

Being born in this country, and i respect the laws and the cultures of this country, why do the people not respect me like i respect them?
Ana kawne 5al2an b 7al balad, oo be7trem nezam 7al balad oo takaleed7a bitmanna min l 3alam illi bitshoofne b 7al taree2a, te7tremNE mitil ma ana be7teremon... oo mish kill l 3alam mitil ba3da.
